Silk maison. A silk banner, simulated thread by thread.

About the work
A silk maison whose hero is a real cloth simulation: a 46×30 Verlet lattice pinned at the hoist like a banner, worked by fractal wind, rendered with a sheen material so the highlight rolls across the weave as it moves.
How it was made
The cloth crumpled into itself twice before the staging changed: a free-hanging sheet became a hoist-pinned flag, gravity was eased, and z-flutter was amplified until the silk read as silk. The final pass moved the whole banner so its seam clears the headline.
Like every work in the exhibition, it passed three full iteration passes — a visual critique, a deepening pass, and a QA pass at 390px with reduced motion and zero console errors — and documents itself in its own build guide.
