SILLAGE

Grasse perfumery. Smoke that remembers where you moved.

SILLAGE homepage — full preview

About the work

A Grasse perfumery whose page breathes: triple domain-warped fBm smoke drifts behind the composition notes, and your cursor leaves a wake in it — sillage, the trail a perfume leaves — which is the whole idea of the house.

How it was made

Two warps looked like weather; three made perfume. The wake's velocity term matters more than its position — fast gestures tear the smoke, slow ones fold it — and that difference was tuned until moving through the page felt like moving through scent.

Like every work in the exhibition, it passed three full iteration passes — a visual critique, a deepening pass, and a QA pass at 390px with reduced motion and zero console errors — and documents itself in its own build guide.
